Roger Carter is an owner of B-K Cascade Ranch, a twelve hundred cow-calf pair operation in Southern Oregon.  His Western ranching heritage dates to the 1880s.

Mr. Carter is also a Managing Director at Merrill Lynch, where he is a senior client relationship manager and a trusted advisor to institutions and families with aggregate client assets in excess of $3 billion dollars. With over 35 years of experience, he has expertise in asset allocation, alternative investments, and complex wealth transfer strategies. Prior to joining Merrill Lynch, Mr. Carter led a distinguished career as a Vice President at Goldman Sachs and an Executive Director at Morgan Stanley. He has been recognized as a leader in the financial services industry by Barron’s magazine, which has ranked him among America’s Top 100 Advisors.

Roger and his wife Kathryn are the parents of 4 children and 14 grandchildren.  They reside in Eagle Point, Oregon and San Francisco, California.
